Renate Bornberg

Renate Bornberg holds a Diploma in architecture from TU Wien, Austria (1994) and a PhD on urban and village design in European and non-European cutures (2004). She was a Professor (Vertretungsprofessorin) in Regional Architecture and Settlement Planning, Leibniz University of Hanover /2008- 2012) and a lecturer at the Fachhochschule M√ľnster and TU Darmstadt (since 2013). She is the founder of JCCS-a, an interdisciplinary journal for architects, planners, ethnologists, historicians and all interested in the three dimensional environment and a founding member of buTa, urban design international - from design to research to design.
