Reinhard Skinner

Reinhard Skinner has 40 years’ experience in development work in over 30 countries of Asia, Latin America and Africa, most of which has been in urban areas. This includes long- and short-term work with non-profits and donor / development agencies, including the World Bank, European Commission, DFID, UNDP, UN-HABITAT and DANIDA. Skinner’s main areas of expertise are urban management and governance, poverty reduction, housing and slum upgrading, stakeholder participation, monitoring and evaluation, project cycle management, vocational training, professional training and capacity building. He worked for IHS - Erasmus Univeristy Rotterdam as a staff member for ten years and is currently Team Leader for UN-Habitat on an ADB funded local government capacity development project in Myanmar.
