Michael Mattingly

Urban Planner with work experience with governments and consultants, and on capacity building, program assessment assignments and research in countries of Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Latin America and Eastern Europe. Since 1977 Mattingly has been a teacher, researcher and consultant on urban land, planning and management. Recently, studies of rural-urban links and the peri-urban interface have been prominent in his activities, both as a researcher and as advisor to a DFID research fund. In Mundus Urbano, teaches the course on Urban Land Management.
