Dipl.-Ing. Kerstin Zillmann is a German urban planner and head of the urban development department in Hamburg-Harburg. She has been lecturing at numerous universities in Germany and abroad. She has been involved in projects in Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Cuba, Kenya, South Africa, Thailand, Turkey, Uruguay, and Venezuela. Her research and action focus on gender issues, urban renewal and low-income housing policies – which also is the subject of many of her publications.
