Brenda Galvan-Lopez

Brenda Galvan-Lopez studied Architecture at Universidad Veracruzana in Mexico, followed by a Masters in Urban Design at Newcastle University, England. Afterwards she practised and taught urban design and planning in Mexico. Later she returned to Newcastle where she did a PhD in the School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape, completing in 2011. Later she got funding from CONACYT1 to work at the School of Architecture in Universidad Veracruzana, carrying out research into the way federal policies are interpreted in the implementation of projects to transform public spaces in Mexico besides doing other academic activities such as teaching and supervising undergraduate students.
